bluddy Burritoz

These are disgusting ads. The way they look revolt me. The visual on this ad says to me filthy people who like to live in pigsty eat these Burritos. I feel like the pay off line could have had more of an encouraging finish. I suppose to the regular drunkard it would relate. I however like my dignity.  I might be treading on thin ice here but I know that humans are lazy creatures that only worry about their immediate surroundings.  Generalizations are dangerous but in the ad game they sometimes have to be made.  These ads demonstrate that generalization.  The dollar notes cropping out of the purse is a clear indicator as to what type of people we are dealing with here.  Dirty Americans!  Hahahaha I don’t mean to be mean but it’s a funny stereotype and these ads seem to be playing on it.

As for Sunday morning ritual, I kind of feel like IV missed out actually. None of these scenes have been seen through my eyes. Maybe I need to party harder! Iv been hung-over, pounding kop-seer, dry mouth, spinning world and I cant imagine myself wanting to eat that nasty looking thing especially because it’s on the floor. It does have a singled minded proposition (unlike me right now) in the sense that you need to eat something in the morning (every morning) when you’re hung-over.

All in all, these ads are a fail. They fail to persuade me to do anything burrito related. They do however motivate me to be a cleaner person, as I personally would hate to wake up to a mess like that. To be fair to the creators, they are aiming this towards American party animals (animals being the operative word).
There is a place for Burritos, just not in my tummy but I’m sure it’ll find its way into somebodies tummy.

There is a market for anything; you just need to identify it. There’s a market for chocolate covered cockroaches and the people selling them are rich! So go Burritos go!

  1. Yep - very grungy, and no appetite appeal. Even ads aimed at messy party animals should have appetite appeal. The target market is young party people who are messy, and don't mind a bit of grunge, but even they might be turned off by this.

Your first paragraph needs better flow - you are writing in that 'staccato' style again. This is easy to fix - so print this out and I'll show you how. 63
